TomTom Explore comes with a bright, clear 3.5-inch TFT screen which allows control of the TomTom Explore through the intuitive touchscreen menu system for which TomTom have become renowned. The screen has an anti-glare coating to ensure optimum visibility in the brightest and darkest of conditions.

Instructions can be given in a variety of different languages - the system comes with 36 languages and 55 different voices to allow you to customise your TomTom ONE Explore in the way that suits you best.

The TomTom Explore offers full door-to-door navigation in the UK and Republic of Ireland.

The TomTom ONE Explore comes with the latest GPS chipset for ensuring optimum location finding and navigation.

The system is light weight and very portable - easy to transfer between vehicles - ideal for a family to share. The system comes with all software and maps pre-installed and therefore truly is "plug and go" - it's that simple.

As we have come to expect from TomTom, the Explore has crystal-clear graphics with maps being shown in either 2D or 3D both day and night.

The system comes with thousands of Points of Interest pre-installed - giving locations for such places as post offices, hospitals, cash points, petrol stations etc.

The system allows the user to choose from a variety route settings - quickest, shortest, avoiding toll bridges and congestion charge areas - maximum flexibility is the name of the game with this system.

Safety camera locations come pre-installed to ensure a safer journey is enjoyed by all and the "help me" menu system ensures that the Explore system can be operated by just about anyone.

Although the system doesn't come with traffic information, free real-time traffic information is available through the optional TMC receiver which allows the system to receive realtime traffic information pertinent to the users locality. Prior knowledge of any hold-ups ahead allows the user to plan the optimum route to their destination.

TomTom HOME software is included which allows the system to be connected to a home computer for latest software updates, mapping changes (via the TomTom MAPSHARE facility) etc.

The TomTom Explore is also compatible with the TomTom PLUS range of services.
