TomTom GO 300

The TomTom GO 300 is an entry-level satnav system. The TomTom brand is the most popular one in the UK. The TomTom GO 300 has been around now for a few years.

It is ready to go straight out of the box with all maps coming preloaded on SD memory cards. It is possible to buy larger cards offering more storage for maps and points of interest.

A mounting kit is included to attach the unit to the windscreen or dashboard. The menu system is controlled through the touch-sensitive screen and there are a number of ways to enter your chosen destination using road names, towns and postcodes. The route can be calculated in a number of different ways – shortest route (distance), fastest route (time), avoiding toll-roads and congested areas.

The system allows you to enter multiple waypoints thereby allowing the user to make several stops on the same journey - the TomTom GO 300 will navigate the user from one stop to the next and so on.

The system offers 3D map views and voice-prompted directions.

The TomTom GO 300 comes pre-loaded with thousands of Points of Interest (POI’s). It is also possible to add your own favourite destinations - home, office, etc making navigation even easier.

The system contains more than 30 voice-prompt languages. The integrated GPS antenna and rechargeable battery mean that this unit is truly portable and can be easily transferred between vehicles.

The TomTom GO 300 features all the great navigation of the award-winning TomTom GO software at an affordable price. Additionally, it is ready for TomTom PLUS services through a suitable Bluetooth enabled mobile phone.
