Navman iCN635

The Navman iCN 635 is a professional satellite navigation system which is ready to go straight out of the box.

The iCN635 operates the SmartST navigational software in common with other Navman in-car satnav GPS systems. The 635 comes with street-level mapping for the United Kingdom and most of Western Europe making it ideal for the regular driver in continental Europe.

3D map view comes as standard and the system also features Back-on-Track automatic re-routing. If the user makes a wrong turn - either by mistake or on purpose (to avoid a traffic hold-up ahead) the iCN635 will automatically calculate a new, optimised route to the destination originally programmed into the unit. This makes it the ideal accompaniment for the driver who likes to concentrate on the road ahead.

Multiple stops can be programmed into the iCN635 - either prior to or during the journey - making it ideal for sales professionals and other business people/delivery drivers.

The system comes preloaded with a Points of Interest (POI) database. This contains details of the locations of such amenities as petrol stations, hotels, hospitals, cash machines, tourist attractions etc.

The user can choose category and the iCN635 will display a list of amenities in relation to their proximity to the user's position at that time - the user can then choose one location and the iCN635 will quickly navigate the user to it - ideal if you're running low on fuel say!

It is possible to add your own points of interest - thereby expanding the usability of the iCN635 over time.

The unit has a large, bright, clear 3.5 inch colour screen. The in-built speaker offers turn-by-turn voice guidance and the internal memory can be used to store all maps. The aluminium case houses the GPS receiver and all other electronics making the unit quickly transferable between vehicles.

System storage can also be expanded with SD/MMC memory cards which are available separately.
